Outstanding large and richly colored blueprint of the George Lawley and Son built schooner “CAMILLA”. Designed by the naval architectural firm of John G Alden. With legend panel displaying Project 457, auxiliary schooner yacht, sail plan. December 11, 1929. Drawn by W.F. McNarry. McNarry was an M.I.T. graduate who later worked for caterpillar as a special marine representative. This splendid yacht is grand in scale. Immense sail area.
This blueprint is fantastic. It is just so well defined. Details include skylights, winches, cabins, companionways, gangway loader, binnacle, helm, mast, spars, club sail boom, blocks, fittings, etc. Showing all rigging cords as well as additional mast plans with spreader. The CAMILLA was seventy feet long. This is a beautiful piece of art.
