Brass Boat Compass in Varnished Wood Box

Classic early twentieth century boat compass by the Marine Compass Company, Polaris brand. The entire gimballed compass has been meticulously polished and lacquered. This classic marine instrument is fitted to its original hardwood box with a fine varnished finish. The box has a fitted lid.
