A late Victorian lacquered brass sextant by Dobbie Son & Hutton, 113 Fenchurch St., London as engraved on scale. Three ring design with three accessory lenses. Black lacquered frame. Fitted to a felt lined box with brass hook closures and lock with key. Box lid has a label from S.S. Jerusalem and is dated 1957 Dobbie Son & Hutton dissolved in 1895.
