Dockyard half model of the British ocean liner City of Berlin built in 1874 for the Inman Line. She won the Blue Riband in 1875 as the fastest liner on the Atlantic. She was also the largest passenger ship for six years. The carved hull is painted black above the waterline and green below with a gold boot stripe. Mounted to a wood backboard.
