Philips 18" Merchant Shipper's Globe, London

Rare library globe by Phillips of Fleet St. Late 19th century. Mounted on a mahogany stand with three reeded and turned legs and castors. Base has a working compass. Globe itself shows areas of wear and discoloration with some loss. 45" high, 23" diameter. Compass on base is 8" diameter.
