Rare Troughton & Simms Navigators Sextant

Late nineteenth century surveying sextant by Troughton and Simms. Fitted to a varnished kidney shaped box with unique leather carry handles which is definitely a Captain's custom touch. Box is also fitted with four accessory scopes and seven colored shades, varnished handle, 180 degree platinum inlaid vernier scale. This sextant is of the highest quality. Circa 1880. None better.
