Ships Binnacle with Wheel on Pedestal

Solid brass yacht binnacle compass with six spoke wheel with varnished wood handles. The nineteenth century gimballed compass bears the mark of Coubro & Scrutton Limited of London. The pedestal is mounted to a thick wood base. The entire unit has been meticulously polished and lacquered. Interior has been fitted with warm lighting.
