Ornate American Yacht Binnacle Circa 1900

Turn of the century solid brass yacht binnacle.  Pedestal base design with great detail on the graduated column and flange footed base.  The hood has a hinged door with viewing port. The bowl holds a gimballed compass from American maker Kelvin and Wilfred o White of Boston and New York. The interior has been fitted with warm lighting. An awesome display piece, mounted to a wood base with carved rope detail.
