Awesome early 20th century lantern with chimney embossed with maker's name "Bulpitt and Sons 1916 Birmingham." Engraved. This is a fine ship's cabin lantern. Once used on the grand liners. Three panes of glass with one hinged for access. Wired with an electrical socket replacing the burner for home use. Mounted to a thick mahogany base. Fabulous display piece utilizing a one hundred plus year old lantern. It has been meticulously polished and lacquered in our workshop.
