Antique Model of the USS Constitution

Extraordinary mid nineteenth century antique model of the American Frigate USS Constitution. This is the finest antique model of the constitution we have ever sold in fifty five years of the business. The model's details shows thorough research by the model builder. The quarter galleries are carefully executed. The hull planks are scribed. Twenty four cannon are rigged to the deck and twenty four below deck. Five launches and lifeboats are carved from the solid. The deck shows a warm patina. The model is built into a custom mahogany case with raised panels on the table.
