Boat Compass on Gimbal in a Mahogany Box

Fine solid brass gimbaled boat compass that has been meticulously polished and lacquered, and fitted to a varnished mahogany box with a lid. The lid has two brass hooks. The compass is by Wilcox Crittenden of Middletown, Connecticut. Very Fine Maritime Relic.
