Brass Boat Compass in a Varnished Mahogany Box

Antique yacht or boat compass by Wilcon Crittenden of Middletown, Connecticut. It has a highly polished brass bowl. The gimballed compass is fitted to a dovetailed box with a rich varnished finish.
