Brass Yacht Binnacle From the 19th Century

Very fine antique boat compass fitted to a polished brass case. The binnacle is fitted to a carved wood base with rope border. Fitted with an attached oil burner, a carry ring, and gimballed compass from "Star" of Boston. The bezel is engraved 14500. Awesome marine relic.
