Framed International Code of Signals Charlie (C) maritime signal flag, professionally mounted within a shadow box display. Constructed of white linen with a centered blue square, the flag retains its original canvas hoist, rope lanyard, and wooden toggle. Signal flags such as this were used extensively aboard naval and merchant vessels to communicate standardized messages before the advent of modern radio communications, and they remain an important part of the International Code of Signals.

When flown alone, the Charlie (C) flag means "Yes" (affirmative). It is used as a clear positive response to a previously transmitted question or signal, making it one of the simplest yet most frequently used flags within the International Code of Signals. Its clean, minimalist design and practical significance make it an excellent addition to any collection of naval or nautical memorabilia.
