Framed International Code of Signals Hotel (H) maritime signal flag, professionally mounted within a shadow box display. Constructed of white and red linen divided vertically, the flag retains its original canvas hoist, rope lanyard, and wooden toggle. International Code of Signals flags were used extensively aboard naval and merchant vessels to communicate standardized operational and navigational messages before the widespread use of radio communications, and they remain an important part of maritime signaling today.

When flown alone, the Hotel (H) flag means "I have a pilot on board." This signal indicates that a qualified harbor or coastal pilot has boarded the vessel to assist with navigating confined waters, ports, or other challenging passages. Its simple yet distinctive design and its association with safe navigation make it an excellent addition to any collection of naval or nautical memorabilia.
