French Prisoner of War Bone Model

French Prisoner of War Ship Model with planked and pinned hull, carved woman mermaid figurehead, hatches, stairway, wheel, etc. Hull was fifty eight cannon protruding from the hull. Fully rigged with running and standing cords, knotted ratlines, deadeyes, etc. Finely executed quarter galleries and stern, gallery with pierced windows. This fine model was on display the Yarmouth County Museum in Yarmouth Nova Scotia for sixty two years. The consignor acquired it forty two years ago.
