Ship's Lantern By Italian Maker

Italian ship's lantern with rare dioptric lens. This is a very thick prismatic lens. The applied brass badge reads "Dritta Verde" which means "starboard" and "green" in English. This lantern has been meticulously polished and lacquered. Absolute first class restoration. Mounted to a thick wood base with routed edge. Hinged door on rear. Wired with electricity. Nice heavy copper case. Great style to this old relic. Carry handle.
