Venetian Galley Ship Model In Case

Finely constructed ship model of a Venetian Galley, Circa 1580. The oared vessel is lateen rigged with a suit of sails and many detailed flags. Painted hull with heraldic shields. Fitted to a case with plexiglass cover. Brass nameplate reads Venetian Galley 1580 R.G.S. formerly in the Bank of America corporate collection.
